Dr. Scott Cole is a highly skilled, board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. In addition to his comprehensive ophthalmology practice, Dr. Cole specializes in oculoplastic surgery, offering procedures such as internal ptosis repair, internal brow lift, and endoscopic tearing surgery.
Dr. Cole provides expert care for a variety of conditions, including ptosis (droopy eyelid), dermatochalasis (excess eyelid skin), brow ptosis, eyelid malpositions like ectropion and entropion, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, thyroid eye disease, and skin cancers around the eyelids. He also performs reconstructive surgery following Mohs’ micrographic surgery and offers comprehensive eye care for adults, ensuring a full spectrum of ophthalmic services.
A native of Columbus, Georgia, Dr. Cole earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Georgia before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University and a fellowship in Ophthalmic Pathology at the Moran Eye Center, University of Utah. Dr. Cole completed his residency in Ophthalmology in Augusta, Georgia, and his specialized fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
