Eyelid & Eyebrow Surgery
Correct angry, tired, or sad expressions that do not reflect how you actually feel.
The effects of aging are inevitable and the brow and forehead frequently are first to show the signs.
Sun, wind, and the pull of gravity affect the upper face, resulting in loss of the skin’s normal elasticity. The result is frown lines, wrinkling across the forehead, and heaviness of your eyebrows and upper eyelids.
With new advances in medical technology, different methods are now used to perform a browlift procedure. One advanced technique is known as “endoscopic” brow lifting which offers patients tiny incisions with less bruising, minimal discomfort, and a more rapid recovery and return to normal activities.
As opposed to other methods of brow lifting, an endoscopic browlift requires only several small incisions be placed behind the hairline, each less than an inch in length. An endoscope, which is a pencillike camera device connected to a television monitor, is inserted through one of the incisions, allowing the surgeon to have a clear view of the muscles and tissues beneath the skin. The tissues are then elevated and fixated into appropriate position to produce a rejuvenated, invigorated appearance.
Although a brow lift does not stop the clock, it can minimize the appearance of aging for years.
